One of art’s oldest and most popular genres, portraits are featured across most collection areas in the Hood’s current installation. What better inspiration for participants in this interactive workshop to explore meaningful and surprising facets of their own identities? Features a creative writing exercise using thematic prompts that stir up . . . who knows? Facilitated by Hood staff and Joni B. Cole, founder of the Writer’s Center of White River Junction, this writing workshop is free and open to all; no writing experience required. Space is limited. Register online by June 24 or call (603) 646-1469 for more info.
