You need qualified workers to grow and those are in short supply. However, there is a program available in both New Hampshire and Vermont that can help.
The NH Job Training Fund will reimburse you up to 50% of the cost to train current employees for new roles and responsibilities. Have a great employee that you want to move into a management role? Or do you want to add new services to your current business and your employees need additional training? These are examples of where the Job Training Fund can help.
The Vermont Training Program partners with employers and training providers to train Vermont's employees for the jobs of tomorrow. VTP provides performance based workforce grants for: pre-employment training, training for new hires and incumbent workers. Training can either be on-site or through a training provider/vendor. Grants may cover up to 50% of the training cost.
