Achieving 100% Renewable Energy:
Let’s Make it Happen!
New this year! Register on-line and we will enter your name into a drawing for a surprise prize!
Join friends and neighbors as we celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Hanover’s historic vote to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2030 for electricity and by 2050 for transportation and heating. Come to learn what’s happening. Leave with at least one idea to move towards 100 percent in the coming year.
Poster and Slide Exhibits will showcase energy saving and renewable energy projects already completed in Hanover.
“Ask Me” Tables will be staffed by local residents eager to share their experiences as early adopters or tried-and-true solution advocates. Talk to neighbors who have “done it”, from cutting edge solar inverters to best practice energy efficiencies. Meet the Community Solar Team to see if you can help launch a community solar project in Hanover.
Speakers will report on the Ready for 100 and similar movements regionally and nationally, and on Sustainable Hanover Energy Subcommittee, Town and Dartmouth accomplishments since last year’s forum. Learn about 2019 -20 initiatives - including the plan for a new purchasing group for residents and small businesses to buy their electricity from 100% renewables sources.
Q&A with the speaker panel and in special session with specific interest groups.
Light refreshments will be provided. We encourage bringing your reusable cup to reduce waste.
See you on April 24! Please come early for a free LED light bulb from Liberty Utilities (while supply lasts).
